Matthias Reiner
Matthias received a master’s degree in quantitative finance from the Vienna University of Economics and Business after completing two bachelor’s degrees in business administration and technical physics. In-depth studies on financial markets and investment analysis during his exchange semester at the National University of Singapore spurred his interest in finance, which he broadened through various internships in the industry. The experience he gained through the Vienna Portfolio Management Program and as a research assistant at WU further incited his interest, prompting him to advance his academic research in the field.
Matthias’s research interests include, among others, macro-finance, climate finance, and sentiment analysis. Matthias plays the piano, enjoys outdoor activities (soccer, tennis, hiking), and likes to explore the world.
